UNFORGETTABLE PROPOSAL AT THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING IN NEW YORK.
The couple, thrilled by their engagement, invites family and friends to their ceremony on October 26, 2024.
In an unexpected turn during Joseph Graf's 30th birthday celebration in New York, the couple consisting of Maritza Camarena and Joseph Graf announced their engagement. The proposal took place on June 7, 2023, at the Empire State Building, a Wednesday that will be the couple's memory and marked the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.
The proposal, deviating from the conventional script, was an authentic and surprising moment. Joseph posed the key question: "Queen, will you marry me?" and, after kneeling for 1 minute and 17 seconds, Maritza, astonished and excited, answered affirmatively, marking the prelude
to the news they now share with
friends, family, and the world.
Maritza and Joseph, aware that authenticity is the key to their love story, have set the date for their wedding on October 26, 2024.
The religious ceremony will take place at the Church of San Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer at 1:30 p.m., and will be blessed by Monseñor Pedro Pablo Elizondo, L.C. and Father Luis Alberto Chavarrria, L.C.
The celebration with their loved ones will continue at Reserva Educare Eventos, where Maritza and Joseph will express their gratitude for the presence of their guests. The couple, far from seeking grandiosity, wishes for this day to be a genuine reflection of their love and an occasion to share happiness with those who have witnessed their journey.

WE SHARE OUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GDL AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
Friends coming from outside, we leave you some of our recommendations that can help you make your trip more enjoyable to our wedding.
There are several beautiful destinations you can visit, such as Chapala, Tlaquepaque, or Tequila. We recommend staying for a whole morning, afternoon, or even a full day to enjoy them. These three places are approximately between 40 minutes to 1:30 hours away. Personally, we really like going to these destinations. We highly recommend them!
There is a route you can take on metro line 3, where you can visit the downtown areas of Zapopan, Guadalajara, and Tlaquepaque. Downtown Zapopan is very beautiful; it has restaurants, bars, the MAZ Museum, and the beautiful Basilica of Zapopan. From there, you can take metro line 3 to go to downtown Guadalajara, where you can visit
the cathedral, Hospicio Cabañas, and then head to Tlaquepaque to walk down the main street, where there are many nice shops and restaurants, as well as the Parian. (Take your time so it doesn't get dark on you).
As for shopping malls, the nicest ones are Andares; next to itis Landmark, where you can find all the shops and very nice restaurants.
There is also La Perla, Midtown, and Punto Sur (this one is farther away, but it's nice).
Finally, there are several areas like Providencia, where Punto Sao Paulo is located (a plaza with many restaurants), Colonia Americana, Chapultepec, El Country, Chapalita, etc. We will share a map with several points, where you can see the location, their Instagram, and what each thing is, whether it's a museum, a restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
